Vaaliban subject is based on the second love story in Simbhu life. Simbhu had a opinion of directing this film after the failure he faced in his love. But this was protested by Prabhu Deva, who was also strong in his decision that this film should not come out by the acting of Ajith too. This was put forth by Prabhu Deva to Ajith, in order to covey it to Simbhu.
So Simbhu has decided to drop this film. Simbhu finished his last shoot for Vaanam, after he returned from London on Sep 24th. Simbhu – Anushka combination scenes were shoot , inspite of Simbhu having fever.
Yesterday eve the whole team Vaanam had an unexpected meet with reporters. In this Simbhu said “after the film Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya iam getting more positive appreciation about my character, thanks for that”. Simbhu,in his speech mentioned many times that he is fan of Anushka. He also added that Vaanam will be released for diwali, after that Vettai Mannan and then only Poda Podi will be released. But he dint give proper reply when he was asked about Vaaliban.

When everyone thought it has calmed down, came the real storm in the form of photos which had Nayan and Simbu in very intimate poses.
