As planned, director Venkat Prabhu had commenced the shooting of his Ajith’s starrer ‘Mankatha’ film yesterday in Chennai. This film is going to be the 50th film of Ajith. It is believed that the film will be released in a grand manner on May 01, 2011 that is for Thala Ajith’s next birthday.
After Super Star Rajinikant, Thala Ajith has captured the second place in Tamil film industry for giving their grand cum mass opening. So producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri have seriously involved in the work of releasing the film globally.
Yuvan Shankar Raja was signed up as the music director of the film, which is to be his fourth Thala Ajith project. When he was interviewed about the film he said that, Ajith has personally spent time with Yuvan and have told to give a hilarious music.
I have put much effort in the making since my responsibility is more as the expectations for Ajith fans are at the peak, says Yuvan. Venkat Prabhu said that, Mankatha is an action thriller film accompanied with the regular dose of my humours.
The director also added that, this film will be a different experience for the audience as these sort of plots will totally be a new concept for South Indian audience.
