Actor Jiiva, the talented son of film-maker ‘Super Good Films’ R.B Chowdhary, got married to Delhi-based Supriya a couple of years back. Ever since he got married, Jiiva’s career appears to have been following an upward trend with hits like ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ and ‘Kacheri Aarambam’.
Supriya got pregnant early this year and a few months later, left for her parents’ home in Delhi for the pregnancy. She complained of labour pain a few days back and was admitted to Indraprastha Apollo Jospitals where she delivered a beautiful looking baby boy on the wee hours of Wednesday, the 13th October.
Both the mother and the new-born baby are in perfect health, hospital sources said. Jiiva, who had been shooting on a non-stop schedule for his upcoming film ‘Vandhaan Vendraan’ opposite Tapasee, rushed to New Delhi to be with his wife and the new-born baby.
On reaching the hospital, he distributed sweets to the hospital staff. He expressed his happiness at the birth of the baby and said he was grateful to God for blessing him with a child.
