Sonia Agarwal made her debut in Kadhal Kondein directed by Selvaraghavan. Romance bloomed between them during the shoot of this film in the year 2002. Later the couple got married in 2006 and Sonia Agarwal had quit doing films.
When the director was in the making of Aayirathil Oruvan the couple was undergoing a difference of opinion as there were rumors that Selvaraghavan and Andrea was in close relationship. This made the couple to end up in divorce with mutual concert.
Presently the actress had given her come back in Simbhu’s Vaanam. When Sonia Agarwal was asked about her opinion on Selvaraghavan she said that, whenever an ex-husband or ex-wife undergo a situation of meeting they won’t see face to face. But I will not behave like that instead when I see my ex-husband I won’t get angry. I will shake hands with him and go on my way.
