Vaanam, a remake of Telugu hit Vedam , which is directed by Krish who did the original version. Its really arduous to work on remake, as the director have to gather information about the expectations of Tamil audience and work in accordance with that.
The film stars Simbu, Anushka, Bharath in lead roles. In this film Simbhu comes across with Bhatarth and ”in future Iam ready to act with other heroes including Dhanush” he added.

Production is done by Ganesh Janardhanan, and music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Simbhu lauds his co-artist Anushka that, “am a great fan of Anushka”. Her performance in Arundhati impressed me a lot. It’s a pleasure to work with such a brilliant person, he added.
