Nayanthara and Ajith had starred in Aegan, which was directed by Raju Sundaram. This film was released in the year 2008. When this film hit the screens in Kerala, posters of Nayanthara in vulgar poses were displayed in several prominent places. This has irked the sentiments of several people and one Mr. Nagaraj has filed a petition in the Criminal Court seeking action against Nayan, Raju Sundaram, the theatre owner Sridharan and the producer.
The case was closed recently due to lack of evidence. Following this, Nagaraj has filed a fresh petition seeking a re-investigation. The court has ordered the police to re-investigate and submit a report soon.
