Bollywood stars are celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with great fervour and enthusiasm. Abhishekh Bachchan and Ashwarya Rai also visited in GSB mandal and prayed there.
Actors Govinda, Nana Patekar and Jeetendra also celebrated the festival. Both Nana Patekar and Govinda established idol of Lord Ganesh at their offices.
Former MP Govinda said that thee Ganesh puja is always very special for us. He gives us happiness and is the one who provides us strength and wealth. We think that by praying to him, everybody`s health would remain okay, and he will look after us. There is Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in RK studio.
After the huge success of his latest film `Dabangg`, Salman Khan said,“ As his mother is a Hindu, they are also celeebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in a big way.I am celebrating it at my home right now, but would go to meet everybody. At home, like every year we celebrate, all the family members are here, all friends come over. We celebrate it like this only every year as you see.”
Union Heavy industries and public enterprises minister Vilasrao Deshmukh celebrated the festival with his family, which included actor son Riteish Deshmukh at their home.

Meanwhile, Ganesh Chaturthi is also celebrated in variou sparts of the capital. The local Marathi community has organised pandals in places like Karol Bagh, IP Extension, Gurgaon and other places.
