Director A.R Murugadoss, whose ‘Ghajini’ a few years back catapulted actor Surya to superstardom, has started the shooting his fourth Tamil film ‘Ezham Arivu’ starring Suriya in the lead again. The film also marks the debut as heroine in Tamil of Shruti Haasan, the multi-faced and mightily talented elder daughter of ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Haasan. Shruti debuted as heroine in Hindi in last year’s ‘Luck’.
‘Ezham Arivu’ is produced by Udhayanidhi’s Red Giant Movies at a huge budget. The stunning Shruti Haasan, well-versed in many departments of music, scored the music for her father Kamal Haasan’s ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’ last year and also sang and starred in the promotional song of the film.
The script of the film is said to be very different but appears to be loosely based on Christopher Nolan’s “Inception”. When “Ghajini” was made a few years back, it was also reported that Murugadoss had borrowed the script from Nolan’s “Memento”. Whatever it is, the combination of Suriya and Murugadoss is sure to rock again, for sure!
Suriya reportedly plays a Circus artist in the film. The film’s shooting has been going on at present at the “Great Bombay Circus”, which has camped at Coimbatore for the past month or so. The crew had taken the whole Circus campus on rent and has been shooting non-stop, it is learnt.
Suriya, the performer-par-excellence, is said to have performed some ‘daredevilry’ in the Circus tent for the movie and is sure to impress his fans once again!
