Srinivasa Kalyana Mahotsavam at Seekinankuppam, East Coast Road (ECR)

Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) has proposed to perform the very sacred “Srinivasa Kalyana Mahotsavam” at Marg Swarnabhoomi, Seekinankuppam, East Coast Road, on Saturday, the 24th July 2010 from 5 PM onwards.
The Utsavars of Lord Venkateswara and Goddesses Sridevi and Bhoodevi will be brought from Tirumala for performing this “Srinivasa Kalyanam” at Seekinankuppam. The Archakas will come from Tirumala to perform the rituals of “Srinivasa Kalyanam”.
More than 2 lakhs devotees are expected to attend this holy function which is being organised for the first time at Seekinankuppam coastal area. It is a great opportunity especially for the poor and the down trodden people living on East Coast Road to participate in this function free of cost and to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara and Goddesses Sridevi and Bhoodevi.
TTD will be following all religious principles to bring in the Utsavars from Tirumala to perform this “Srinivasa Kalyanam”. We are making necessary arrangements to distribute Anna Prasadam, Turmeric, Kumkum, Akshadai, sacred thread (kankanam), Tirumala free laddu with water bottle to all devotees.
We have requested the Transport Department of Tamil Nadu to ply more number of buses from Pondicherry, Cuddalore, Tindivanam, Villupuram, Cheyyar, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Mahabalipuram, Tambaram, Chennai to Seekinankuppam, ECR so as to enable the devotees to participate in the “Srinivasa Kalyanam” and to take the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara and Goddesses Sridevi and Bhoodevi.
All arrangements are being made to celebrate this holy function in a grand and successful manner.
