Sandalwood beckons Priyamani

Priyamani might have expressed her unhappiness for not getting enough “challenging offers” from Kollywood, even after she proved herself by acting in films like Ameer’s ‘Paruthiveeran’ and Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavanan’.

But Sandalwood aka Kannada film industry is set to put the actress in its A list, for sources say Priyamani has been approached by some top Kannada film producers and directors for some big projects.

“The actress, who will start shooting for her third Kannada film produced by Dwarakish and directed by V Kumar, in August, has been contacted for some promising projects. She will decide on them soon” sources add.

Meanwhile, ‘Eno Ontharo’, the Kannada remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Kushi’ in which Priyamani is the heroine, is currently busy in its post-production. Apart from this, the actress is currently part of Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Raktha Charithra’ and a Nagarjuna’s forthcoming film.
