Ileana D’Cruz is an Indian film actress. She made her feature film debut through Y.V.S. Chowdhary’s Telugu-language film Devadasu opposite newcomer, Ram, but has also done a Tamil film Kedi. She has had prominent roles in films like Devadasu, Pokiri, Jalsa and Kick.

Ileana D’cruz has bagged the female lead role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next project, Gabbar, starring Akshay Kumar.
Bollywood reports say that the Goan beauty will be seen romancing Akshay Kumar in the Bollywood remake of the Tamil film to be directed by Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi (Krish) of Gamyam (2008), Vedam (2010) and Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum (2012) fame.
Ileana, who is already shooting with Shahid Kapoor for Phata Poster Nikla Hero, has reportedly bagged the role after impressing everyone in her Bollywood debut and award winning Barfi.
Gabbar is remake of 2002 Tamil film Ramana, and is slated to hit theatres by the end of the year.
