Shammu goes strong

Shammu, the ‘Kanchivaram’ and ‘Mathi Yosi’ girl, is flooded with offers. She may be a part of Samuthirakani’s forthcoming film. Besides, she has two Telugu projects and one Malayalam movie in the pipeline.

“Right now, talks are in progress with director Samuthirakani for a Tamil film. I am happy with the response I have been getting here. People here are kind, caring and trustworthy”, she says.

The young actress, who is acting in Prakash Raj’s production venture ‘Mayilu’, says she is proud to have acted with the National Award winning actor in ‘Kanchivaram’. “He is a gifted actor,” she says.

Saying she has no qualms about wearing a swimsuit, Shammu adds: “I am ready to wear a bikini if the script demands it. Is there anything wrong with wearing a swimsuit when you go swimming?”
