Shriya Charan’s ongoing phase at present context maybe certainly mediocre, but she has pinned bigger hopes on her international project, which is long-awaited on release.
It’s all about her film ‘Cooking with Stella’ that is still winning international recognitions for its centric theme on contemporary India. The film has international actors Don Mckellar, Seema Biswas (Bandit Queen fame), Lisa Ray and Shriya Charan in lead roles.
The film is a hilarious take on a family drama that has some unexpected surprises awaited for the central character Stella. Having been a cook for past 30 years at Canadian High Commission in New Delhi, Stella has been acclaimed as a highly-proficient cook. She comes across a Canadian diplomatic couple Michael and Maya arriving with her baby. Sooner as Stella finds out that Michael will be in home like a housewife and Maya is the breadwinner, Stella has her own plans as Michael, a former cook wants to learn more on Indian continental dishes.
Shriya Charan takes on the role of a maid, who threatens Stella about her scamming tasks and later an unexpected thing takes on with hilarious and emotional realms.
The film was released across various parts in March 2010 and the producers are planning to release it herein India within short span of time. Believing that this release would earn her more reputations, Shriya Charan is incredulously looking up for the Big Day.
