It looks like the Bollywood has become avid watchers of yesteryear Tamil comedies. Previously, Akshay Kumar had remade Kamal Haasan’s ‘Pammal K Sammadham’ that was shot in exotic locales in United States with the additional extravaganzas of Hollywood superstars Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and more personalities.
Now, Sajid Khan Picks another Kamal Haasan’s yesteryear comedy entertainer ‘Kadhala Kadhala’ with a different angle for his ‘Housefull’. Last Friday’s release features Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Jiah Khan, Boman Hirani and others.
Although the screenplay and characterizations have been partially modified, the heart and soul of the Tamil film is blatantly prevalent.
The complete film has been shot across London and Italy with Shankar-Ehasan-Loy scoring music. Sajid Nandiadwala has produced this film that is really doing well at universal box office.
