Vimala Raman is an Indian film actress and model and a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. She has appeared in Tamil and Malayalam films. She was born and brought up in Sydney. She started practicing Bharatanatyam at the age of five. In 2004 she won Miss India Australia title as well as Miss India Australia cyber queen title.
