Nayantara returns where she belongs

Even though she is one of the top stars in south Indian cinema, Nayanthara’s potential is yet untapped by Tamil film industry.
But like they say, you cannot hold back a good actor for long. In Kerala, Nayan had raked in accolades for her stupendous performance in Siddique directed Bodyguard which is now remade in Tamil with her bête noire Asin doing the lead role.
After completing the schedule of her Kannada film with Upendra, Nayan is joining the unit of her next big film Electra to be directed by Shayamaprasad in Malayalam. Manisha Koirala and Prakash Raj plays Nayan’s mom and dad in the film and sources close to the unit say that she has an author-backed role. The shooting is starting in a huge mansion near the backwaters of Alleppy in Kerala from April 27.
