The smash hit Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa will be remade in Hindi by IN Entertainment (India) Limited, part of Hinduja Group and co-produced by Photon Kathaas. The film which is directed and co produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon is a romantic musical entertainer that has struck a chord with the audience irrespective of age or gender.
The lead roles in VTV were essayed by Silambarasan and Trisha. There is a buzz in bollywood that the Hindi version also will be directed by Gautam Menon and the music will be composed by Oscar winner A.R Rahman. The music of Rahman will be an integral part of the film.
There is no final word on who will be cast in the Hindi remake and the final word is expected in this regard.
