Kamal Haasan was the cynosure of all eyes at the star studded launch of dance master Shobi’s IBO Dance Studio this morning. Lalitha master is the dance director of the school and the duo was seen welcoming the guests together.
Kamal lit the inaugural lamp and launched the dance studio along with Suriya, Radhika ,Ileana ,Jayam Ravi, M Raja, Editor Mohan and Raju Sundaram. Later were spotted KS Ravikumar, Udayanidhi Stalin, Adhi and Sriman.
Said Suriya “Shobi has done many films with me and Jo admires Lalitha’s expressions for the dances. It’s great that someone who knows so much about dance has opened a school which is the need of the hour.” Ileana recalled “Shobi has helped me in a very stressful period when I did not know dance and I was very stiff. So I made it a point to come for this event today.”
Udhayanidhi Stalin was honoured with a ponnadai and KS Ravikumar was seen congratulating the hosts who revealed that Prabu Deva would be launching the music system later.
The school will feature International dance styles and instructors from across the world. Shobi revealed that it was a dream come true for him since he wanted to keep up the tradition of running a dance school which his father dance master Paul Raj had done for 26 years in his lifetime but which his son could not keep up till now, a dream achieved by starting such a school.
