Oscar winning music maestro A.R. Rahman will score the music for popular Telugu actor Varun Sandesh’s new romantic film to be directed by Kadir and produced by Sudhakar of Sri Maha Ganapathi Films, which is currently making the high-budget movie Sevakudu (Telugu) with Srikanth.
Addressing a press meet at Prasad Labs, Sudhakar said: “Kadir, who earlier made the blockbusters Hrudayam, Prema Desam (Kadhal Desam in Tamil) and Premikula Roju, is now making this film under our banner. Varun Sandesh, who carved a special place in the hearts of young audiences, plays doing a wonderful role. Oscar winner A.R. Rahman is scoring the music.”
The film will be launched on August 15, Independence Day. The regular shoot will commence from August 24 and continue till December. The makers are planning to release the flick as a Sankaranti gift. Producer Sudhakar himself will handle the camera. The details of the other cast and crew would be announced soon. The film is expected to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.
