After Sakkarakatti, Santhanoo is all excited about his second film in Tamil. SPeaking on the film Santhanoo says,”A lot of people think that is a remake of my dad’s Puthiyavarpugal, as the original title of the film wasthat. So we changed the title as Siddhu +2″. Film is a romantic youthful commercial entertainer. Tamil girl Chandini is the heroine.
Lot of curiosity surrounding Chandini as she is a Tamil girl born and brought up in Chennai. The last girl who was successful is Trisha. Chandini hails from a upper middle class family. She did her schooling in Churuch Park and currently doing her final year Viscom in Ethiraj College. Chandini dubbs for her voice. , She has played a meaty role in Siddhu, Speaking on the film she says,”I did not go to any acting school, but was lucky to be groomed by Bhagyaraj sir. I play a bubly village girl who comes to chennai after completing her +2. Speaking on the glamour, She says,”I’m quite tradiotional in my outlook. In the film i wear half saris as well as short skirts that are worn by girls of my age.
The film revolves around students, Shanthanoo and Chandini who belong to two different cities, fail in their +2 exams and run away separately to avoid their parents. They meet at Chennai railway station and the events that follows forms the rest of the story.
