Genelia denies marriage reports

Popular South Indian actress Genelia, who recently migrated to Bollywood with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Life Partner and Chance Pe Dance, has denied rumours of her forthcoming marriage with actor Riteish Deshmukh.

Earlier, a Mumbai-based tabloid reported that the actors became very close ever since the shooting of Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003) and their relationship is now heading towards marriage. The report also said that both families have approved the match and the marriage will take place in July this year.

However, these reports are far from true, say Genelia and Ritiesh Deshmukh on Twitter, strongly rubbishing these marriage reports.

Genelia’s message on the site said, “No guys Im nt at al gettn married, sum irrespnsible journo is respnsible4dis news n its sad dat dey posses no ethics n smply fabricate stuff.” Even Riteish didn’t lag behind and posted on Twitter, “There is no truth to the article suggesting that i am getting married. Actually not a single line printed in that article is true.”
