So, who’s making it big as an actress amongst Tamil audiences now? Obviously, it’s none other than actress Ananya from God’s Own Country, who made her debut in ‘Nadodigal’. Her characterization in the film as a typical countryside girl has impressed wide range of audiences in both cities, towns and villages. Now, she has been striding as a winner with more offers and yet remains selective on her roles.
The actresses on the top of charts are Abhinaya (Nadodigal), Siva Manasula Sakthi fame Anuya and Neetu Chandra of ‘Yaavarum Nalam’

Actress Ananya has been roped in to play a nanny in debutant director Abin Jacob’s Thomson Villa. She will be seen opposite Hemanth in the film. Sources say,The story revolves around a young girl who struggles to make ends meet. While hunting for a job, she meets a businesswoman who offers her a job. She gets appointed as the nanny to her five-year-old son. She then comes to the posh Thomson Retreat Villa..It’s about an incident that happens in the life of the little boy; how Ananya finds out about that and goes on to solve his problem..
However, it is not Ananya who plays the protagonist in this film, but the five-year-old boy, played by Gaurisankar.
Meanwhile teh actress who is noted for her performances in films including Seedan and Engaeyum Eppothum, has Iravum Pagalum in the pipeline in Kollywood. She is paired opposite Mahesh (of Angadi Theru fame) in this Bala Sriram-directed film.
