Sameera Reddy birthday Bash 2009

Sameera Reddy. The ‘Varanam Aayiram’ girl is celebrating her birthday today. She hopes the year ahead would take her to further heights, thanks to Ajith starrer ‘Asal’ in which she is an inevitable part.

For Sam, as she is called by her friends and colleagues, the special day is like any other day. “I don’t find any difference. I will be busy with my work as usual,” she says with her ‘trademark’ smile.

And ask her why, she says: “How can I disturb others work in the name of my birthday? I have given my callsheet for the day (for ‘Asal’) already and I can’t cancel it just like that. Hence, I will be shooting non-stop.”

Saying that she is eagerly expecting a couple of songs from ‘Asal’, Sameera adds: “The entire movie will be different. However, I am looking forward to the audience’s reaction to the songs. One of them, choreographed by Ganesh, is a very stylish number.”

Heaping laurels on Ajith, she says, “He is a man of discipline and dignity. One can’t find him wasting time unnecessarily. Even during breaks, he would keep himself occupied by doing something.”

Though the workaholic Sameera is not keen at celebrating her big day, we wish her a very happy birthday and all success in her future endeavours.
