Will Namitha ever sport a pavadai dhavani? Well that’s the wish expressed by lyricist turned actor Snehan at the audio launch of Namitha’s film Nil Gavani Ennai Kaadhali. “I would like you to wear this dress so that others too will follow the trend and it would become popular” said Snehan. This is Namitha’s entrance into Malayalam cinema as the film is in Malyalam and Tamil as well.
Replying to this request Namitha said, “I can’t go to the other extreme as I have a glamour image and people won’t accept it. But in this film I am covered from top to toe and the songs alone have a glamourous Namitha”. It was the role with lots of scope to perform which has attracted her to enter Malayalam with these producers she said.
The music is by Abhishek who has been sound engineer with James Vasanth earlier. James Vasanth and singer Chitra were there to launch the audio along with VC Guhanathan and Siva Sakthi Pandian. Kalabavan Mani, Pawan, Bala and Ashish Vidyarthi are also in the film which is directed by Pramod and Pappan and produced by Kicchu Films.
