Karthis aayirathil oruvan trailor launchedLooks like there's good news for Karthi after all. The two year wait post superhit Paruthiveeran has finally ended and how! Everyone at the trailor launch of producer Raveendran’s Aayirathil Oruvan could not help raving about it. The trailor released by Kamal Hassan and given to Suriya in the presence of Rama Narayana, Sivasakthi Pandian, VC Guhanathan and others, took the breath away and left most people speechless.

The awesome visuals were a complete treat along with the interplay of emotions and equations between hero Karthi and the female leads Reema and Andrea. Two songs, Govinda Govinda and Un Melai Aasai Dhaan were screened. Parthiban, who was present, has played a major role as a Chola King but his presence has been kept a mystery in the trailor adding to the mystique of the film which is set for a Pongal release.

Though Karthi justified the wait because of the sheer magnitude of the project, Kamal Hassan felt that better planning at the script stage itself would make such films possible in a shorter time span. Kamal revealed that he enjoyed watching the trailor while Suriya wished that he would get an opportunity to work with Selvaraghavan soon. “Please don’t leave the hunger that you have for good cinema and continue to make wonderful films,” said Suriya.

Selvaraghavan, Reema, Andrea, Karthi, Ravendran, GV Prakash, Ramji, Parthiban, Vetrimaran and Hansraj Saxena were amongst those present.
