Seedan – Dhanush in Nandanam remake – Movie Preview

Nandanam is a directorial venture of Ranjith which narrates a poignant love story. It also marked the debut of Prithviraj in Malayalam. Navya Nair played lead in this heroine oriented film which was a grand success in Kerala.

As remakes continue to rule the roost, director Subramanian Siva of Yogi, Thiruda Thirudi fame is at the helm of remaking this flick.

Ananya will appear in the role that Navya has done in the original. In the original Navya Nair was an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna while Ananya is a lover of Lord Muruga.

Prithviraj will don the lead in the Tamil version also. The Tamil screenplay is written by director Viji, who wrote the screenplay of Mozhi and also wrote and directed Vellithirai

Seedan is produced by Mohan; the movie has commenced shoot at Pazhani, while Dhanush is busy with the shooting of Kutty and Aadukalam.

The producer has signed deal with Prithviraj and Nadodigal fame Ananya in lead roles. This remake was first titled Un Mugam Parthene but the unit has got zeroed with the title Seedan.
