Karthi is very hardworking Kajal AgarwalActor Kajal Agarwal, the cute and bubbly bundle of energy who was last seen in Modhi Vilayadu is back in Tamil after the huge success of the Telugu Magadheera. Talking to us on the sets of her next Tamil film Naan Mahaan Alla, she tells us about her role, her career and more.

How does it feel post the huge success of Magadheera?

It feels great. The film has completed 100 days. I played a princess opposite Ram Charan Teja, son of Chiranjeevi sir. I am really happy. I played a normal girl and a princess so I had lots of scope to perform.

Why haven’t you done any Tamil films after Pazhani and Modhi Vilayadu?

I was really busy in Telugu and had no dates. But now I am concentrating on Tamil as well.

So how is it working with Karthi in this film?

Karthi is very hardworking and prepares well with rehearsals for each shot. But he is also spontaneous on the sets.

How is it working with Susindran?

Director Susindran encourages us to be spontaneous and gives us lot of space to be ourselves. Its nice working this way.

So are you enjoying your shooting stint in Chennai?

Yes, the producers Studio Green are very good to me and everyone pampers me a lot! It’s a young team and its fun working with them.

What is your role like in the film?

I play a simple girl called Priya who comes from a simple family and falls in love with a brat, who is the hero.

So what are your plans in Tamil films?

I would love to work with all the big heroes of course. But having said that, I would also like to focus on the story because that’s very important as well.
