There are a lot of successful movies that have created box office records. But, we acknowledge all these success only after their release. Now there is a movie that has given an opportunity to the entire team of the movie to do a second film with a Producer who was so inspired by the movie “Kadhai”, even before its release.
Looks like the Kadhai Hero, the NRI and former Chennaiite, Shaan Kumar has done a great performance in his debut movie titled “Kadhai” (yet to be released) directed by “Kolangal” fame Abishek. They had a preview show last week for some of their friends and it happened to be one of the first time producers Mr. Y. Chakravarthy of H2B Studios came to the preview show and watched the movie. He was so inspired by the performance of the hero Shaan and the story line by Abishek.
When the movie was over, he straight approached Shaan and asked can he do a movie with his production company. Shaan was speechless as he was actually planning to do another movie with Abishek again in his second script, which is expected to be a comical romantic action movie.
A hesitant Shaan then asked Mr. Chakravarthy, whether he has a director and a story to be produced. Here came the second sweet shock, that Mr. Chakravarthy is indeed looking for good scripts and it took no time to put the pieces in place. Now, H2B Studios Producer Y. Chakravarthy is producing a movie titled “Kaiezhuthu” directed by Abishek starring Shaan. The camera and the music department are given to their favorite buddies Abu Shah and Paul Jacob who worked with them in Kadhai too. The heroine is going to a known face and someone who is well appreciated.
The shooting is expected to go on floors from the month of December. Well, when we asked the Producer as why would he start something on a small budget when he can produce a mega budget movie under his mega banner Hollywood2Bollywood (H2B) Studios at first shot itself? Mr. Y. Chakravarthy said, “Everything starts small and Movie business is becoming so risky these days. So, I wanted to play safe which is why I am producing a small budget movie and the reason why I wanted to use the same team for “Kaiezhuthu” is because people here in Kollywood have started realizing the importance of team work and the value of having compatibility between the team members. Thanks to the success of Chennai-28, Subramaniapuram and Nadodigal. When I saw the whole “Kadhai” team, they are all young people with fresh ideas and so much knowledge. They are no new to the Hollywood style of working and when I heard the story line from Abishek, I just couldn’t stop myself from signing the whole team and finally why not this team becomes the next successful team in Kollywood?”
