I am lucky to get Lingusamy – Karthi

Karthi’s next film is Tirupathi Brothers’ Paiyya which had a grand audio launch at Sathyam cinemas on Sunday evening. Shankar launched the audio which was received by Suriya in the presence of the whose who of the industry.

Everyone was high on praise for the trailer and two songs shown. Venkat Prabhu was the emcee for the evening. Tamanah looked stunning in a sari and was paid rich compliments by Parthiban, Shankar, Lingusamy and Karthi amongst others.

Karthi seemed overwhelmed by the response and admitted, ‘I am lucky to have Lingusamy as my director. He took so much care of us like he would a child. He shot each scene both action and romance with so much passion and enjoyed the whole process of film making himself.”

Everybody paid rich tributes to Lingusamy and Karthi and Simbhu added that he would be doing a film soon under Lingusamy’s banner and Boopathy Pandean’s direction. Suriya for his part praised his brother and added that he would love to do a film with Lingusamy soon since he had missed two opportunities earlier due to Nanda and Ghajini.

Guests included Bhagyaraj, Abirami Ramanathan, Hansraj Saxena, Balaji Sakthivel, RK Selvamani and Mysskin.

Yuvan’s music was the talk of the evening.
