Director Mani Rathnam to watch Kurbaan

Veteran Mani Rathnam isn’t just a perfect filmmaker, but a great mentor who takes a lot of care in seeing that his protégés are going on the right track. With Kannan making a big time in Kollywood, the ace filmmaker’s another assistant in Bollywood is set to screen the film first to his mentor now.

Aye! It’s Rensil D’ Silva who worked with Manirathnam in various films including his yet to release ‘Raavana’. Rensil is getting ready for the release of his ‘Kurbaan’ starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. It has been revealed by the closer sources of Rensil that he will first screen ‘Kurbaan’ for Manirathnam in Mumbai or Chennai maybe.

‘Kurbaan’ is produced by filmmaker Karan Johar of Dharma Productions and it’s based on the conceptualization of terrorism set in backdrops of United States. Vivek Oberoi does a prominent role in this film.
