Cricketer Ramesh is a hero now

With many filmmakers turning into actors and choreographers as filmmakers, it’s all about a cricketer making his debut as a hero now.

Chennai based Ramesh broke into International cricket with his stunning performance and later stepped into small screen as a judge for Vijay TV’s reality show ‘Kalaka Povadhu Yaaru’.

Afterwards, he started off his career in film playing a supporting character in Jeyam Ravi starrer ‘Santhosh Subramaniam’.

Gradually, he had attracted Yuvaraj, who worked as assistant director to Raja for the same film. Now both of them are joining hands together for a cricket based comedy film.

The film has been tentatively titled as ‘Patta Patti 50-50’ and is produced by A. Venkatramani of SANRAA MEDIA (earlier the producer was a part of GV Films). Hottie Madhu Shalini, a model who makes her debut with RJ Shiva starrer ‘16’ performs female lead role. The official announcements about this film will be made shortly and shooting is expected to start from first week of December.
