Ajmal was acting in an ad film at Munnar. While speaking to the media, he said,” This ad film is for a multinational company.

I am donning various getups like pizza salesman, playboy, athlete and computer engineer in this ad film. There is nothing wrong in heroes acting in ad films. Apart from this I am acting in a film titled Kadhirvel.

I will say this is the first film that I am doing the lead role, because this film will show me in various dimensions. I acted seriously in Anjathey, did a smart young man role in TN 07 AL 4777 and also donned the comedy role in Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru.

In Kadhirvel I have donned the role of a village youth in the first half and the role of a modern guy in the second half. This film will identify me as an action hero.”
