Seemingly inspired by the epic Mahabharatha, M/s. Media One Global Entertainment (the makers of Dhaam Dhoom and Chiku Bukku) is coming out with a Mega serial on Kalaigar tv titled Dhayam. This Mega serial would be telecasted from Monday to Thursday from 9.30 pm from 12th October.
Starring a big filmi cast of Vadivukkarasi, Rajesh, Sudha chandran, Kaveri, Poorani, Ajay rathinam, Sakshi shiva, OAK Sundar, Ashok, B.R Illavarasu, Anbu and others, over a 1000 episodes are on the cards.
Dhayam is Directed by J.Panner, who wielded the megaphone for Vijayakanth starrer Sakkaraidevan. Annakili R.Selvaraj has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues. Rajesh vaithya has scored music and lyrics are penned by Vairamuthu.
Dhayam is inspired by the battle between the Pandavas and Kauravas. “We have made changes in the story to suit the new generation of viewers,” says R.Selvaraj. “It would be a soap show that can be watched with the entire family. It has action, drama, humour and revenge” he adds.
