If sources are to be believed, the ‘Nadigar Sangam’ president is planning to remake Nadigar Thilakam’s ‘Veerapandiya Kattabomman’ in a grand budget.
The movie would be produced by Radaan, a company run by his wife Radhika. It is however said that Radhika is looking for a partner to jointly produce the film.
If everything goes well, Sarath himself would wield the megaphone. ‘Veerapandiya Kattabomman’ is a biopic on a Tamil king, who fought against the British rule. With Sivaji Ganesan and Gemini Ganesan in lead roles, the film is still remembered by movie-buffs for many a reason.
