Pronouncing Superstar Rajinikanth as his best friend, Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan said he could throw a challenge to any one who could vouch for a similar friendship in the industry. The World Star was overwhelmed by the adulation showered on him by industry folks gathered at the function Vijay TV organized to feliciate Kamal Haasan on his golden jubilee year in the industry.
Kamal said he was not sure whether he has achieved everything he dreamt of when he entered the industry. “If I have reached this far, it is due to the support of the fans who accepted all the characters I was privileged to do. I am floored by the affection of the film fraternity and it would be in order to touch their feet for participating in this function which I never anticipated to be this big,” said the World Star, doing his best to check his emotions.
Actress Radikaa said such were the mesmerising eyes of Kamal that he could even romance a bull convincingly. Reliving the moments of Sipikul Muthu, Radikaa said she was simply stunned by the way Kamal acted in a dance sequence where he had to deliberately miss a step.
Megastar Mammooty said he is in competition with Kamal about which of them will get his fourth National award first.
