Meena’s back!

Actress Meena, who had said that her cinema career would take a back seat after marriage, seems to have had a change of heart! She has agreed to play a supporting role in Thambikottai directed by Amu Ramesh. The movie stars Narain, with Poonam Bajwa playing his love interest.

“Thambikottai is the name of a village in Tanjore District. A shocking incident that actually took place in that village forms the basic story of my movie, hence the title,” explains Amu Ramesh. Meena, who had set her mind on not acting, could not resist this role because she loved the story. Meena plays Narain’s sister and has a significant part in the main plot. Music is by Imman.
