Kamal, Sivakumar, Laxmi, Suriya, Prakash Raj awarded in AIFEC Meet

The 58th Film Fans Association awards have been announced for cine bests of 2008.

In addition to Kamal and Suriya who get best actor awards for Dasavatharam and Vaaranam Ayiram, other winners include Prakash Raj and Aishwarya as best character artistes and veteran actors Sivakumar and Lakshmi for their outstanding contribution to filmdom.

Oscar Ravichandran is the best producer in the list while KS Ravikumar is the best director for Dasavatharam. The best actress awards go to Sneha, Trisha and Simran while Sasikumar and Swathi are the best new faces for their roles in Subramaniapuram. The entire list of cine bests for Tamil, Telugu and Malyalam including TV bests in Tamil were announced by Harish Mehta President and TC Alwan and TN Ramalingam Joint secretataries of the Film Fans Association. A grand award function will be held at the Kamaraj Arangam on 8th November.
