Cardiologist With Kamal Hassan

Unnai Pol Oruvan is a big hit and still going strong. The young actors in the film are gung ho about landing a role in a Kamal hassan film. None more so than the actor who played Inspector Sethuraman, namely Dr Bharath Reddy.

The man is actually a junior cardiologist with the Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad but is also an actor with 18 Telugu films under his belt! So how did he land this plum role? Says he,” Director Chakri Toleti saw my cop role in Siddham and called me for auditions. One month later I was selected.”

Bharath grew a moustache for the role for the first time in his life. The Chennai boy who later studied medicine in Armenia always wanted to pursue his passion for acting as a career. He is proud that he was the only actor in the film to share screen space with Kamal, Mohanlal and Venkatesh ( in Telugu). Now he is looking to make a mark in Tamil films as a villain.
