Aval Peyar Tamilarasi for Dubai festival

Moser Baer's forthcoming film “AVAL PEYAR TAMILARASI” starring Jai, Nandagi, Kanja Karuppu, Rama, Theodre Bhaskaran, Veera Santhanam and others has been invited to be premiered by DUBAI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, which is being held from 9th to 16th December 2009. The film has music by Vijay Antony, Editing by Raja Mohamed, Camera work by P.G. Muthiah, Written & Directed by Meera Kathiravan.

The selection team, which came to India in September has seen several films, which are under production in various languages and selected few films for screening/premiering during the festival. Says CEO G Dhananjayan "Our film, which is going through the post-production has been seen in the double positive mode by the selective team and they were quite impressed with the quality of the film and agreed to revert soon on the selection. We have now received the formal invite from the organizers and happy to attach a copy of the invite. The film has some outstanding music by Vijay Antony with lyrics by a new writer Egadasi and the music release is planned by October-end. Think Music will be releasing the music."

The film will be released in December 2009, post the premiere at the Dubai International Film Festival.

Dhananjayan seems to be upbeat about the selection, "It is a great honor for a film under production to be selected for the festival premiere based on the merit and quality of the content and we are confident the new theme not seen in Tamil films and the quality of presentation will appeal to larger audience, when it is released in December. The film will also be a part of the competition section at the festival. Ms. Suhasini Manirathnam, who is coordinating for Tamil films to be a part of the film festivals played a great role in the selection of films for this festival and the team of APT is thankful to her for this honor."
