Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru is romantic comedy – Ajmal

Ajmal is mighty kicked about the Romantic comedy Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru releasing this week. “It’s a romantic comedy where you will see a completely different Ajmal’ he promises. The actor plays an ad executive opposite Rupa Manjari. “We had loads of fun on the sets. Director Nandini JS was strict but fun and would discuss things with us,” says Ajmal.

If he had any doubts how his comic act was coming along, one look at the laughing crew was enough to convince him he was doing a good job. “Mouli sir was a revelation and so down to earth. He plays my foster father in the film” recalls Ajmal.

The film is the debut production of Sathyam Cinemas and Real Image. Debut director Nandini JS is a former assistant of Priya V who worked with Mani Ratnam earlier. The film is also the debut of Rupa Manjari besides being Ajmal’s first solo hero film in Tamil.

With so much riding on it, lets see how it fares.
