Thambivudaiyan
M Theatres Thambivudaiyan directed by Raja Mahesh is a film on the Cauvery issue. The film was denied a censor certificate and sent to the revising committee after which it has been cleared. But several cuts and changes were needed. The word Cauvery has been replaced by aathu and aaru in the film.
The film has 2 lip locks between Aadithya and Manisha and the new face Aadithya completed the shot in one take. A student of Vis Comm from Loyola College, Aadithya has experience in dance and theater.
The film has some risky fight scenes where a real log hit the hero in his eye while an aruva cut his hand on another occasion. Let’s see how the film will fare at the box office, dealing as it does with a sensitive issue.
