Maanja Velu is the film which has Arun Vijay and Tanshika in the lead roles. This is the second film produced by Feather Touch Entertainment after Malai Malai. Venkatesh who directed Malai Malai is also directing this film. Malayalam super star Suresh Gopi is donning the role of a police officer in this film. As per the story he is the elder brother of Arun Vijay.

A couple of years ago Suresh Gopi had acted as Ajith's brother in Dheena which was directed by A R Murugadoss. Suresh Gopi’s new Malayalam film Vairam is to hit the screens on September 20, on Ramzan day. Pasupathy is also starring in this Malayalam film.
