Karthi and Kajal Agarwal in Naan Mahan Alla

K.E Gnanavel Raja, producer of Studio Green and cousin of Karthi and Surya has titled his next venture as Naan Mahan Alla with Karthi as the hero in the film. Karthi, with only one release till now, is still a sought after hero due to the critical acclaim of Paruthiveeran that was released more than 2 years back.

Naan Mahan Alla which resembles a title of Super star Rajini film released in the eighties and will showcase the romantic side of Karthi.

Karthi is now playing lead roles in Lingusamy's Paiya and Selvaraghavan's Aayirathil Oruvan.

The new version of Naan Mahan Alla is directed by Susindran of Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu fame.

The hot girl in Telugu after the mega blockbuster Magadheera, Kajal Agarwal is the heroine of the film. In Tamil, she was last seen in Saran’s Modhi Vilayadu which has not sold many tickets in the box office. Kajal is looking forward to her first big movie in Tamil.

Script is by Susindran and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Camera is by Madhi. Rajeevan is in charge of the art department. Shooting will begin this month.
