Kamalhaasan to direct his Mentor

K. Balachandar is the mentor of two superstars of Tamil cinema Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth. Kamal and KB fans can exult as Kamal Haasan is to direct his mentor K. Balachander in his production venture.

Kamal is also acting in this movie. This is first time Kamalhaasan shares screen with K. Balachandar. Balachandar’s role has got enormous importance in the film.

Kamal Haasan owes where he stands today to the movies he had done with Balachander which include Manmadha Leelai, Ninaithale Inikkum, Avargal and Nizhal Nizamagirathu.

Grapevine is that Kamal is emulating Prakash Raj, who showed his gratitude in a unique way by producing the movie Pozhi to facilitate Balachandar touch a century in direction.

Prakash Raj a discovery of KB named his Production House Duet Movies. Duet was the title of Prakash’s debut film where he jollified in a negative character.

This is the fiftieth year of Kamal in the Tamil film industry. The sishya Kamal is excited as he directs his guru for this yet to be titled film.

The news that Kamal would direct his mentor is sure a reason to celebrate for his fans. The film would go on floors soon.
