Action time for Vijay’s 50th film

Ilayathalapathy Vijay has commenced shooting for his 50th film, tentatively titled Sura, produced by Sangili Murugan. Vijay has possibly chosen this producer to make his 50th film for sentimental reasons, praying for sure success. (Kadhalukku Mariyadhai, Vijay’s first big hit, was produced by Sangili Murugan).
Directed by S.P. Raajkumar, Vijay is paired with Tamannaah for the first time. Incidentally, Anushka was Vijay’s heroine for the first time in his 49th movie Vettaikaran, due for a Diwali release.
In the role of a fisherman, Vijay’s character is as similar to that sported by the matinee idol MGR in Meenava Nanban.
