Priyamani: Swimsuit was necessary

National Award winner Priyamani, presently shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Raavan, has already denied reports that she plays a negative character in the movie. Acting in a Mani Ratnam movie has always been her dream and she is excited that it has happened.

About her swimsuit sequence in the Telugu movie Drona, she revealed that the script needed her to wear it and it was absolutely necessary. She also said that she wasn’t the first actress in recent times to appear on screen in a swimsuit.

Having delivered three consecutive hits, she has now raised her fee for future projects. She jusifies the raise, saying it is due to the positive response her movies receive at the box office. So here is one more business-savvy actress who wants to make hay when the sun shines!
