Lakshmi Rai is back in the news, not for her movies this time but after the ‘Modi Vilayadu’ star Yuva claimed in an interview that she was his first girlfriend. Responding to this, the actress said that she was basically a frank and friendly person and this is the reason for her enlarged friends circle.

Lakshmi further added that due to this character of hers there were media reports about her relationship with Dhoni. Brushing this aside calling it a friendly relationship, the actress stated that Yuva featured in Modi Vilayadu also had used her name stating that he is her first boy friend. Clarifying on Yuva, Lakshmi said that he was introduced by a common friend four years back and still remains a good friend.

Calling it a marketing move, Lakshmi said diplomatically that she is only happy to be of some help to keep Yuva in news.
