Kasthoori speaks on Selva-Sonia

It was Selvaraghavan’s father Kasthoori Raja who had first acknowledged the love affair of his son with actress Sonia Agarwal. And it was with his support the couple entered wedlock after a four-year long relationship.

As the star couple has applied for a divorce now, the filmmaker father has no other option than expressing his agony that a journey blossomed in front of his eyes had hit a roadblock. But he is still there to support the stands of both Selva and Sonia.

“Extreme possessiveness is the reason behind the break-up of Selva and Sonia. Both were affectionate and cared a lot of each other. They even came together for my birthday function, just two days before the filing of divorce,” he says.

Saying that he and his wife always considered Sonia as their daughter, Kasthoori Raja adds: “Still she is like a daughter to us. Our affection on her would continue forever.”
