Karthi in ‘Naan Mahan Alla’!

Paruthiveeran Karthi is now joined in the club of Rajini title users (without his consent!).

Yes.. he is also going to play lead role in a film that having a title of Superstar Rajinikanth.

According to KE Gnanavel Raja, producer of Studio Green and cousine of Karthi is titled his next venture as Naan Mahan Alla. Karthi is the hero of the film.

Remember, this is title is owned by K Balachander’s Kavithalaya. Naan Mahan Alla is the famous title of Rajini starrer blockbuster, released in the eighties.

The new version of Naan Mahan Alla is directed by Susindran of Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu fame.

The hot and happening girl in Tollywood after that mega blockbuster Magadheera, Kajal Agarwal is the heroine of the film. In Tamil, she was last seen in Saran’s Modhi Vilayadu which did not click in the box office.

So far Karthi has only one release Paruthi Veeran, that too rleased almost 3 years back. Now he is playing lead roles in Lingusamy’s Payya and Selvaraghavan’s long pending venture Ayirathil Oruvan.

Naan Mahan Alla will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and camera by Madhi. Rajeevan is the in charge for art department.

Shooting will be floors on September first week.
