Marriage is no longer a bond of love, but one of convenience! Noted Malayalam actress Kavya Madhavan is the latest to join the coterie of actresses who enter marital bliss only to walk out of it without the slightest emotional burden!
As per the latest reports, Kavya Madhavan, who got married to Nischal Chandran on Feb 5, 2009, has sought divorce at the family court, Thiruvananthapuram. It is said that she has requested the advice of a leading lawyer from Kochi, who has however advised her to live separately for one year before filing for divorce.
Kavya says that Nischal and his mother were torturing her mentally, alleging that she had an affair with a top Malayalam actor, which led to the split. Kavya also alleges that Nischal is always suspicious about her.
No official confirmation about this has come from Kavya’s family yet, but sources close to them say the marriage is on the rocks and Kavya, who joined her husband in Kuwait, is now back in Kochi, staying with her parents. Stay with us for more details.
